Unlocking Your Authentic, Intuitive Gifts

I truly believe every human being has the potential to be intuitive 🔮. Whether that is felt through a physical sensation, a strong voice within or vivid, technicolor dream 🌈, messages pulse through us constantly. When I first started my career in spirituality and learned about energy healing, I wanted so desperately to have the gift of sight 👀. I worked with talented mediums who saw spirits and had clear visions 🤩 coming from their guides. I mean how cool is that? I had this dream ☁️ of talking to my guides as if they were a human sitting at the table with me and wanted to see people's auras 🎨 as I was walking down the street, you know just the norm for an intuitive healer 👸🏼!

So I set on a quest to strengthen my third eye 👁, but was quickly disappointed at the lack of visionary messages I was receiving. All the time I was hearing from other healers on how intuitive I was and how this was my life's purpose, so why did it feel like I was sitting in meditation with a complete blackout◎?

What I didn't realize at the time was that I WAS receiving messages and in fact, have been since I was a little kid. However, I was so fixated at how I wanted to experience them, that I was missing the ones happening right in front of me. This is the first challenge my energy healers face when they are learning how to become intuitive healers. They become riddled with self doubt and just before they write off their ability to be an intuitive healer 👐🏼, they learn how they are authentically already embodying one.

So if you feel like you also are not seeing spirits walking down the street 👻and having an angel on your shoulder whisper what your next step is on your spiritual path, don't panic! There are a million ways to access your intuitive gifts 🎁. I will share with you four main gifts that I see the most common with my energy healers, but also know that there are actually a ton more!

Clairsentience 💕

This is definitely the most common gift healers start with- the gift of feeling. You know when you walk in a room and the vibe is off ⚡️? Or the gut feeling when something feels so so right for you 💚?! This is the gift of clairsentience and gives such valuable information for intuitive healing. With this gift, you can recognize when you have taken on other's energies as your own and need to clear it from your space. You can also sense when something feels off and you need to remove yourself from a situation. A lot of my Kapha clients will have this gift very strong as they are deep feelers who are connected to their emotional body and love physical sensations.

Clairvoyance 👁

This is the gift that gets the most attention, because its flashy AF. It is true that there are mediums who can see auras 😇 and receive clear images during readings. However, you can also access this gift through your dreams, vivid visual memories ☁️, deep imagination experiences and repeating numbers and symbols. Angel numbers right now are one of my favorite ways to receive clear messages from my guides, it actually blows my mind at the accuracy! A lot of my Pitta clients 💥 will have this gift, as Pitta lives in the seat of the eyes and often gives them clear visions.

Claircognizant 🧠

Claircognizant is the gift of having a strong inner knowing. It can be the most difficult to identify because it comes from having a strong inner knowing, which requires a practice of distinguishing between your mind and your intuition. People who have this gift learn new subjects and skills very easily 🤓. They also can collect a lot of wisdom and might not be able to pinpoint how they know it exactly. They receive intuitive information so quickly, it almost feels like they knew it all along! I have seen both a lot of Pittas and Vatas carry this gift. Pitta's can be very logical and deep thinkers 😉, which often flexes this intuitive gift. Vata's tend to be in their heads and highly creative 👩‍🎨, so this can also simultaneously manifest as the claircognizant gift.

Clairaudience 👂🏻

Clairaudience is the intuitive gift of hearing. On the gross level, this is the ability to hear words of wisdom from your guides. However, on the subtle level, this can mean a ringing in your ear or hearing repetitive songs 🎹. A lot of musicians have this gift when they hear tunes 🎶 or soundbytes in their head and then create songs out of them. Spirit is channeling through them to bring healing to the world! A lot of Vatas will carry this gift as sound 🎸 is connected to the element ether, which an element made up of Vatas.
