So you got your healing certification, now what?

Congratulations 🥳🥳🥳!! You have dedicated hours, maybe even years, towards your spiritual education and are proudly holding an acknowledgment of completion in your hand 📜. For some reason, this one hits different than the academic ones. This certification was not only a huge identity shift of becoming a healer and leaving a career that was no longer fulfilling 👍🏻, but a wild transformative journey 🦋 that required you to shed every part of yourself that was living in your old identity. The part of you that had no boundaries and said yes to everyone and everything is gone ✌🏼. The part of you that based her worth off her success is decease 💀 . And the part of you that doesn't trust your intuitive gifts is a distant memory 👋🏻. If that is not a celebration, than I don't know what is!

So the hard part is over right? 🤔 You can finally start doing what you love! But where do you begin? How do you start getting in clients? What if you want to build a business online 💻, so you have the ease and flexibility of an entrepreneur? How do you build an IG and grow with the ever changing algorithm? I got you, listen up 🤓.

First thing's first, I know it seems like the hard part is over and it is bliss 🤤 from here on out. While there is truth to that (I mean what a dream to now be doing what you love and getting paid!), the journey of an entrepreneur is not a linear path to success and will mirror your healing journey. It is not for the faint hearted, but that is why you were initiated into this whole world in the first place. The muscle you gained physically 💪🏻, mentally and emotionally from your healing journey now serves as the foundation for your future business.

I say this not to deter you, but to bring in compassion 💕 for yourself along your entrepreneur journey. I thought that as soon as I completed my Ayurvedic schooling that I would be making a FT salary the day after. The truth is that it takes time to build a whole business that supports you fully, and I always encourage others to have a job that supports them financially 🤑 in the meantime. If that job is bringing you away from your healing journey, find a 'bridge' job in the meantime. This is a job that you know you will not want to stay in for forever, but supports you financially and feels good for you 🥰. It is okay if it is not the perfect job! You are working to build that for yourself. This step is so important because unless you are grounded and supported (aka a balanced root chakra ❤️), you will not be able to have creative liberties in your business.

Creativity is the heartbeat of what you do (sacral chakra 🧡). Your ideas for your offering, your IG content and your ability to create solutions for the endless challenges that will come your way. It is simply the entrepreneur way! So let's get creating 🎨!

If you haven't already, I first recommend creating an offer that you can practice on potential clients today. It is okay if you have dreams to build a retreat, 12 month program and evergreen course, but put a pin in those ideas 📍 for now as they will take time to develop. What is most important right now is you practicing your gifts to determine who your audience is, what are their challenges and what results do they need. This is the foundation of your business.

(I recommend offering your services for free until you feel confident enough in your abilities to charge. This will also help to build trust 🤞🏼with your future clients. If you have been offering your services for free for quite some time, explore money healing work, so your pricing can truly reflect the value you are offering.)

Just like learning to ride a bike 🚴🏻‍♀️, practice, practice, practice! You will learn sooo much about who you are as a healer and your clients in this process. What is your expertise 🤓? What do your clients love about you? How can you streamline your process? What are your clients constantly coming to you for? What results do they get from working with you? The more you can be consistent with this part, the more results you will see, so create a goal for how many clients you will take on per week 📆.

THIS then becomes apart of your content strategy. Your future clients simply want to know that you understand their current challenges and can get them the results they want ✅. You now have specific evidence to show them that! So start creating posts that highlight all of these points and show them the testimonials from your clients.

Lastly, ENJOY this part of the process. Remember, you entered this world to bring joy and fun into your life. This light keeps your business kindled ✨✨. I empathize with those that want to rush to the finish line and have 20k followers, FT salary 🤑 and a sold out retreat. However, the more you can show gratitude for yourself with the little wins along the way... "I signed my first client!" "My first client testimonial made me tear up 🥹." "My client referred two friends to me!", the more success you will experience.
